ADULT EYE TEST

We recommend regular eye tests as a crucial step to identify any changes in your vision as well as any unforeseen eye health problems.  If you – or a member of your family – have been diagnosed in the past with vision problems such as myopia, or more severe eye conditions such as example glaucoma, we suggest our more advanced OCT scanning service and consistent, regular eye examinations.

CHILDREN'S EYE TEST

Eye tests for children are specifically designed to diagnose any eye early onset vision problems in children. You can have your child's eyes tested at any age, in fact being able to read is not necessary. Our professional optometrists are qualified to perform eye examinations for children and are familiar with the techniques and equipment adopted to test their eyes.

CONTACT LENS ASSESSMENT

Our optometrists are specialised in fitting contact lenses. Contact lenses can offer many positives over glasses, providing a wider field of view. They are also ideal to wear whilst partaking in sports or outdoor activities.

Before wearing contact lenses, you will need a thorough eye examination, as your glasses prescription will not be the same as contact lenses. Our trained staff will look at your eye health and take some important measurements, such as base curve and diameter, that will help to determine which lenses will fit you best.

CONTACT LENS AFTERCARE

A contact lens aftercare is a very important assessment that allows our optometrist to check whether your prescription is the same, and if the lenses you are wearing are still fit for purpose and comfortable. This is important if you have been wearing contact lenses for a long time, you will  need to ensure that your eyes are still healthy and your vision is clear.

During the assessment, our specialist will be able to offer advice on any discomfort you may have, including dryness or irritation and put forward solutions to help you get the most out of your contact lenses.
